1Introduction and Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Noctra, a mobile application designed for personal journaling, mindfulness practice, and creative expression. These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Noctra (referred to as "we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Noctra mobile application (the "App"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as well as our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.

2Eligibility and Age Requirements

Noctra is intended solely for users who are at least thirteen (13) years of age. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are at least thirteen (13) years old.

If you are between the ages of thirteen (13) and eighteen (18), you represent that you have obtained permission from your parent or legal guardian to use the App and that they have reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

3Account Registration and Security

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features of Noctra, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information, including your name and email address. You agree to provide truthful, current, and complete information.

3.2 Account Credentials

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to immediately notify us at noctraofficial25@gmail.com of any unauthorized use of your account.

3.3 Account Termination

You may terminate your account at any time through the App's settings. Upon termination, your personal information and user-generated content will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

4Acceptable Use and User Conduct

4.1 Permitted Uses

You may use Noctra for its intended purposes of dream journaling, generating AI-assisted reflections for personal use, and engaging with features designed for personal reflection and mindfulness.

4.2 Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
  • Post, share, or transmit any content that is harmful, threatening, abusive, or defamatory
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the App or backend systems
  • Introduce any viruses, malware, or malicious code
  • Use any automated means to scrape or harvest information from the App

5User-Generated Content & Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to the content and dream journals you create in Noctra. We claim no ownership over your private entries.

6AI Features & Content

Noctra offers AI-powered features using Google Gemini AI and Freepik API. AI-generated reflections and visual artwork are provided for your personal, creative, and reflective enjoyment. They are not medical, psychological, or diagnostic advice.

7Medical Disclaimer

IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: Noctra is a personal journaling and mindfulness application. It is NOT a medical device, diagnostic tool, treatment, or substitute for professional medical or mental health care. AI reflections are for creative self-reflection only.
If you are experiencing a mental health crisis or emergency, contact emergency services (911 in the US, 112 in Europe, 112/100 in India) or seek immediate help from a qualified healthcare professional.
